THEY’RE OFF: More than a dozen ingenious home-built rafts of varying seaworthiness competed in the Great Whangaroa Kiwi Can Raft Race on Saturday. This year adventurer and Kiwi Can founder Sir Graeme Dingle and his partner Joanne Wilkinson were special guests. Photos on pages 10 and 11 by Peter de Graaf.
