Papamoa Rotary Club is running its eighth annual golf tournament in April.

The community has benefited from more than $100,000 in donations since the first event in 2013.

Charities that will be supported by this year’s tournament include the Graeme Dingle Foundation’s Kiwi Can programme teaching young Kiwi kids the values and resilience they need to succeed; the Rotary Youth Driver Awareness programme educating high school students on road safety; and Papamoa Surf Club in its upskilling of volunteers.

Papamoa is a rapidly growing area, and Papamoa Rotary is working hard to address issues that are increasing with youth development.
