Prizegiving ends a busy year for Peria School

Peria School’s prizegiving was well attended by whanau and the wider community. The celebration included music, instrumental and singing, by the pupils, under the tuition of Jane Hillier, from the Whakaaro Tahi Community Trust. Principal Ariana Williams said it was wonderful to see support from and involvement by whanau and a very supportive community, adding that 2018 had been a full year, starting with a whole-school camp at Cooper’s Beach followed by outings to the local marae, beach trips, sports events, environmental activities, concerts and Matariki celebrations.
