Pedal Power as cyclists celebrate end of marathon ride It was celebration time on Saturday for the 125 Central South Island charity bike riders that arrived back in Timaru after completing their three-day 385km fund-raising journey.
The group of cyclists has so far raised about $147,000 for charity this year. Riding for the Disabled, South Canterbury’s Hospice, Family Works, YMCA, Heart Kids, Graeme Dingle Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Society, and Child Restraint Rentals will get a slice of the funds.
