What is Career Navigator?

Career Navigator helps our senior college students figure out what they want to do when they leave school and map out a career pathway that’s right for them. It doesn’t matter whether they are looking to go into the workforce, university, or apprenticeships – or have absolutely no idea what next!

This programme helps students navigate their way through the endless career opportunities presented to them – and open up their eyes to options they may never have heard of!

Career Navigator is made up of three main parts:

  1. Career Mentoring

Small group mentoring with local industry mentors – to help students to discover and plan their career pathway.

  2. Workshops

Opportunities to gain valuable work-ready skills valued by employers, and to create an effective CV and cover letter.

  3. Career Pathway Events

Including site visits and industry days to learn more about the reality of the workplace, and career opportunities.
