Payroll giving is an easy way to support a good cause

It is a Department of Inland Revenue initiative whereby you can elect to make donations directly through the payroll system.

For every dollar you donate, you receive a third back as a tax credit automatically (so there’s no need to file receipts at the end of the tax year).

Companies have the option to select a preferred donee organisation and, as an employer, deduct the donation from their employees’ pay to pass on to the chosen organisation.
