What happens after I register?
Once registered, you (the dropper) will receive a confirmation email with further instructions. Keep an eye on your inbox for updates and event details. We are here to support you along the way.
- Pay Your Registration Fee. Please pay your registration fee of $150 through our payment link here.
- Create a Givealittle page. Visit our Drop Your Boss 2024 Givealittle page here and log in/sign up to create your personal fundraising page. Simply click on the “Participate” button at the bottom of the page and follow the process to create your individual OR team page.
- Ignite Your Fundraising Journey. Keep an eye on your emails for tips and tricks for maximising your fundraising efforts!
What’s the registration deadline?
Registrations will close 3 weeks prior to the event (August 22nd) to ensure all those who are entered have enough time to fundraise.
Can I nominate someone else to jump?
Absolutely! If you’d rather watch from the sidelines, nominate your boss, a colleague, or anyone else you’d like to see take the leap. Just provide their details during registration and let them know!
How much does it cost to participate?
The registration fee is $150. This fee covers the jump off the Sky Tower + videos & photos from the day! (Normal price for this $345)
How much do I need to raise?
The sky is the limit! But we ask everyone to try and raise a minimum of $1000
What safety measures are in place for the jump?
Rest assured; safety is our top priority. The SkyJump platform at Auckland’s Sky Tower adheres to strict safety standards, and experienced instructors will guide you through the process.
What impact will I make?
Every $1 you fundraise goes straight into supporting our programmes. A new Infometrics study shows every $1 invested in Graeme Dingle Foundation programmes, the New Zealand economy gains an impressive return of $10.50!
Can I bring friends and family to watch?
Yes, you’ll be able to bring supporters to watch you on the day! Your supporters can watch you fall from the landing platform at the bottom of the Skytower! There are limited spaces on the landing platform and the team on the day will do their best to get your supporters on the platform for your drop.
What incentives are there for me to maximise my fundraising?
- For each target met, we will add the following:
- $1,500 fundraised: A delicious bottle of wine, thanks to our friends at Lion
- $2000 fundraised: We’ll throw in some NZ Rugby apparel too!
- $2,500 fundraised: Just in time for summer, you’ll also receive an awesome beach towel, kindly donated by Kmart
- The top 3 fundraisers will be invited to a Kiwi Can class to experience the magic of a Graeme Dingle Foundation programme yourself!
