Corporate Wilderness

We are excited to invite you and your team to experience a taster of our Project K programme, with our ‘Corporate Wilderness Adventure’.

We have been delivering Project K for over 27 years, helping vulnerable youth through a 14-month journey that includes one-on-one mentoring, a community challenge, and a 3-week Wilderness Adventure. This 1-day event gives you the chance to get a feel for Graeme Dingle Foundation’s legacy programme, whilst also providing a great team-building day. Our goal is to create an exciting and engaging event that will take your team out of their comfort zone to realise their own potential.

Everything you need to know:

When: 9:00am – 4:00pm, Friday 28th April, 2023

Where: Long Bay Marine Education and Recreation Centre (MERC). 1045 Beach Road, Torbay, Auckland.

Team Size: Teams can be entered in groups of four, and yes you can enter more than one team.

Cost: $1,540 + GST for a team of four, includes all activities and equipment, leader instructions, morning tea, lunch, nibbles and drinks.

Registrations Close: Thursday 6th April

We have planned a series of challenges that will test your skills, with the day ending in a prize-giving ceremony, light nibbles, and drinks. You won’t want to miss this chance to compete with your team and against our other corporate partners – who doesn’t love some friendly competition! And of course, create unforgettable memories too.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many people can we have in our team?

Teams are made up of 4 people. If you have more than 4 people, feel free to enter two teams. A bit of friendly inter office competition won’t go to waste.

Can we take photos?

Of course! The more photos of this incredible team building event the better! However, we will have a photographer joining us, so feel free to use our images post event. If you would prefer that your picture isn’t taken, please let us know prior to the event.

Do I have to organise transport for my team?

You will need to organise your own transport to the venue, there is parking at the event but we do recommend carpooling as much as possible.

What happens if the weather is bad?

There’s no gain without pain for our students on Project K and battling the elements is all part of the challenge! Some activities may need to be juggled if there is a safety risk, but unless there is an extreme weather event, the day will go ahead.
