Welcoming Linda Waddington-Miller to the Graeme Dingle Foundation Board

We’re proud to welcome Linda Waddington-Miller to the Graeme Dingle Foundation Board – a leader whose professional expertise, values, and personal commitment strongly align with our kaupapa and the impact the Foundation has built over the past three decades.

This year marks an important chapter for the Graeme Dingle Foundation as we consolidate as one national organisation, strengthening our foundations and positioning ourselves to undertake new opportunities for the future. As we move through this period of alignment and growth, Linda’s experience and perspective will be invaluable.

An experienced Chartered Accountant and Finance Director, Linda brings extensive leadership and governance experience, alongside strong technical financial expertise, commercial acumen, and strategic thinking.

She currently serves as a senior executive at Lion, a long-standing platinum partner of the Graeme Dingle Foundation, and brings deep insight from more than a decade in senior commercial leadership roles within large, complex organisations

Governance expertise with real-world impact

Linda’s governance experience spans statutory directorships, joint ventures, and minority shareholdings, with a strong focus on stewardship, risk management, and long-term sustainability. She has served on boards within the FMCG sector, supporting organisations through periods of growth, transformation, and consolidation, experience that will be invaluable as the Foundation continues to strengthen its foundations and look to the future.

Her background is complemented by formal governance training, including the Institute of Directors Company Directors Course and Chartered Membership of the Institute of Directors, as well as leadership development through Harvard Business School. Known as an inclusive and thoughtful leader, Linda brings both rigour and humanity to decision-making at the board table.

A familiar face and a committed supporter

Many will already recognise Linda as one of the courageous leaders who took part in our 2025 Drop Your Boss Sky Tower jump. Stepping well outside her comfort zone, Linda not only leapt for the cause but also became one of the campaign’s top fundraisers, a powerful demonstration of her belief in young people and the impact of the Foundation’s work.

Her journey from Drop Your Boss participant to Board member reflects a genuine, long-standing connection to the Foundation, grounded in action as well as advocacy.

We’re delighted to welcome Linda to the Board and look forward to the insight, leadership, and commitment she brings in support of the young people, whānau, and communities we serve.
