Sometimes, good things come from simply getting the right people in the same room.
In February 2020, The Good Day Matrix founder Daz, met Sir Graeme Dingle and Jo-anne Wilkinson, Lady Dingle, over morning tea at the top of One Tree Hill. The opportunity came through a friend who had won the experience at a rugby auction and gifted it to Daz, knowing she was working on a charity helping young people overcome barriers to sport.
That meeting sparked a connection around something they all cared about: helping people build confidence, resilience and a stronger sense of purpose.
As The Good Day Matrix later evolved into a workplace wellbeing and leadership organisation, the overlap became even clearer.
The Graeme Dingle Foundation has spent decades helping young people build life skills and confidence. The Good Day Matrix brings a similar focus into workplaces, helping people perform well, feel supported and connect to purpose.
That shared outlook led to Graeme and Jo-anne later joining The Good Day Matrix for an interview, and the relationship has continued from there.
This year, Good Day Matrix’s Emily is also mentoring students through the Graeme Dingle Foundation’s Career Navigator programme.
Now, Sir Graeme Dingle is joining the Take Ten Event as one of ten speakers.
It’s a nice example of what can happen when people meet, talk and find common ground.
And that’s a big part of what Take Ten is about too.
You’ll hear from ten speakers, but you’ll also be in a room full of people from across business, leadership and the wider community.
You never know who you might meet or where a conversation might lead.
