Stars Components

The following are programme elements that provide leadership opportunities and a positive transition to secondary schools:

Adventure Camp or Activity Days

There are various options which can be delivered in or out of school by agreement. Professional outdoor facilitators take students through a series of outdoor and indoor activities to develop positive relationships and teamwork. Camp or Activity Days can range from 1-5 days.

Peer Mentoring

Year 12 and 13 students are trained to be Peer Mentors and follow a structured programme that addresses key life skills such as goal setting, time management, good communication skills and building positive relationships.

Community Adventure

Students spend a fun day exploring their local area, achieving certain challenges, while learning about what is available to them within their community.

Community Projects

Students plan, organise and spend a day giving something back to their community.
